Given the earth didn't turn, but all things revolved around it?

this wasn't a question about the bible, it was a what if.
If you want references where the bible says the earth is stationary here you go.
Daniel 4:10-11, Matthew 4:8, Joshua 10:12, 1 Chronicles 16:30, Psalms 93:1 & 96:10 & 104:5, Isaiah 45:18

If the Sun revolved around the Earth "like the bible says"... the laws of physics would not apply and wind would be the least of our worries... hence why the bible is wrong in most all respects and should not be used as a scientific basis for anything...

Wind is also not created by Earth's revolution around the Sun. Wind is the movement of air from high pressure areas to low pressure areas in the atmosphere. These low and high pressure fronts are created by Earth's rotation as well as a host of other factors that have to do with higher concentrations of plant and animal life that both absorb and give off elements of the atmosphere. The Sun heating the atmosphere also plays a critical role in the creation of these fronts.

Wind is caused by air moving from high pressure to low pressure - The sun generates the wind by heating the earth more at the equator - So you end up with high pressure at the poles and low pressure at the equator (as air is heated it rises - thus causes the low pressure). Now the rotation of the earth does have an important effect - A force call Corriolous force causes a change in direction to the air that is rising - This creates are weather bands - i.e. the jet stream wind.

So if the earth wasn't spinning. Yes there would still be wind, but they would most blow all the time from north to south.

The Coriolis force, caused by the earths rotation, causes winds and water to be deflected to the right or clock wise in the northern hemisphere and the other way in the southern hemisphere, which is why tornadoes and hurricanes spin the way they do. So there would still be winds caused by temperature differences but not as much.

yes.

Simply put, wind is caused by hotter air rising and cooler air falling, and air moving in to fill the "gaps" made by this process. Weather the earth moves through space or not (since there is almost no friction in space) has nothing to do with wind. As long as there is the sun, there will be wind.

Wind is caused by temperature differences in the atmosphere and has nothing to do with what revolves around what.

I can't find anywhere where the Bible says the sun goes around the earth. So, your whole question is screwed.

do you think that wind is caused by the earth's movement?

Exactly where are you referencing in the Bible?

Well sure there would.

The heavenly host of angels flapping their wings would create our winds.
