If you have some left over gift wrap paper, she can cut it into long thin triangles....1" base and about 12' long.....and roll them around a toothpick starting at the base, until reaching the tip. A dab of glue running about 1" from the tip to the tip to secure it and she will have made her first paper bead. A thin coat of white glue over the finished bead will seal it then let dry on the toothpick stuck into a piece of foam. After dry just give the toothpick a little twist to remove. These beads can be strung on floss along with glass, plastic or metal beads to make bracelets and necklaces and will resemble ceramic beads. Glossy magazine pages can also be used and if she uses text pages, she can decorate each bead with those acrylic paints to make them even more unique. We used to make these beads in the 60s to make beaded curtains along with some glass beads for weight.

Buy some air drying clay and let her make and paint her own beads which can be used for earrings and bracelets etc. Acrylic paint is ideal for this and she can create a glossy look by painting a final finish of pva glue on them...it will dry clear.

Well, none of your supplies on hand apply to this, but I would say jewelry making, particularly stringing beads to make necklaces, bracelets, etc. There are specialized bead shops, or you can find a basic selection at a craft store.
