Mozilla Firefox is much better than Internet Explorer. It's more stable, faster, renders most pages better, and has fewer security flaws. It's also extensible through community-developed plugins, and has wonderfully useful built-in features like "find as you type".
As for IE, not only is it not possible to safely untangle it from the core of Windows, but it's unfortunately still required for proprietary junk like Windows Update, and ActiveX webpage controls (many Yahoo games for example).

I have been using it for 2 years, it is good, you can surf faster and it is more secure.

firefox has a lot of advantage to IE... when i used IE I constantly got pop ups and that pretty much just came to an end with firefox... firefox also has tabbed browsing which is a lot more conveniant than having like five IE windows opened.

I have both but I would rather use firefox. They are both similar, but I have better security on Firefox.

"Better", may not be the wording, however it is NOT as acceptable to hackers, viruses and such,Thats why I use it to surf. I have both on my computer I just chose a default to be Mozilla
