I do believe the first book written was the bible and try reading that before Marx/Engels. You will find in the old and new testiment the damning of the man that put his worldly goods first instead of his family and life. Or the merchant of venice by Shakespeare was a quote from the bible a pound of flesh or the money?
Dictators are anti-capitalists, Gandhi had philosophy of how money could be dealt with in a balanced way. But no one listened.
