GP, you are from (I think) Michigan and you KNOW that they know how to whine better than anyone else. Always have, always will. Poor losers and even worse when they win. It's a fact.

Tony M, sorry to say, is making the same mistake everyone else is.
It's a 12 game season, not a 1 game season. USC has the tougher schedule, and should they beat UCLA, the body of work they've comprised over the season, where they didn't play a team outside of the BCS conferences and the Irish, is more impressive than Michigan's (unless you really think wins over Indiana, Northwestern, MSU, Central Michigan, Ball State, and Vanderbilt are that impressive).

Where are these alleged UofM fans crying? Not in the news, at least not here in Michigan. We do feel we are the 2nd best team in the country, but thats neither here nor there. If USC beats UCLA then they deserve to play OSU on January 8th. I do not personally believe USC is better than UofM, but they deserve there hard fought chance at them too!
I live in Michigan there is nobody here crying, just hoping!
And if you wanna know what I think, then Ohio State University is the best team right now, they were the best team last week, they were the best team last month, they were the best team in September, they were the best team as soon as Reggie Bush, Matt Leinart, and Vince Young went in the NFL draft!
Ohio State will beat whoever they play January 8th, if it is Michigan OSU will win by more than 3 points!

Because USC does not deserve a higher ranking. Michigan's one loss was to the number one team. USC had a loss to Oregon State, which is an 8-4 team that is not in the top 25. Therefore, USC should not have a higher ranking.
BTW, I am not a fan of Michigan, USC, Oregon State, or Ohio State. It is just a matter of simple fairness.

the reason why wolverines fans are crying and i'm not a wolverine fan at all is because they feel that if given the opportunity at a rematch they can beat the ohio state buckeyes i mean they only lost by 3 points anyway wolverines fans feel that they can accomplish the same thing that florida gators did in the rematch against florida state in the championship game flash back to 1996 florida state was number 1 florida was number 2 anyway florida state beat florida the last week of the season however florida beat florida state in the rematch for the national championship anyway to me the bcs is a bunch of crap and needs to be eliminated and replaced with a playoff tournament and let everybody battle it out and may the best team win however since there is alot of money to make by having these different bowl games it will never happen

Michigan fans keep whining and whining, but look at what has happened for them .The kittens being sweep ed by the Cards, with only 85 wins, in such laughable fashion. Not expected to repeat. The kittens of the NFL,probably not winning another game this season.Give these fans a break will ya.
