Recently, I have seen these tiny flies flying around my home. They're not house flies, fruit flies, or gnats. They're a little smaller or about the same size as fruit flies, but not as fast nor do they have red eyes. Does anyone have any ideas what kind of flies these are? And, what's the best way to get rid of them? I looked around and I don't see any breeding spots.

"Red-eye" flying flies? Heck just get a can of Raid, they'll die all the same.

They might be drain flies. As the name suggests, they live and breed in your drains and pipes. Try flushing your drains with hot water, and then pouring some sort of liquid-plumber type product down your drains, to reduce the amount of organic matter in your pipes. You'll probably have to keep doing this every few days, until they're all gone.

Also, go through your house and make sure that there's no open food or anything they could use as a food supply.
