masturbating when i walked in from work yesterday. I kinda laughed it off and asked if this was an every day occurence b4 i get home?! It wasnt a big deal to me at all (why would it be?) until she got all unusually guilty acting. I asked her what the problem is & why she seemed so ashamed for me to walk in on sumthing ive watched her do time & time again!!? She claims that she thought i would get mad & assume she was pleasing herself because she didnt want to have sex with me. That never ever even crossed my mind! Until now..... we havent been making love as often & her little guilt trip was rather unusual. Could sumthing else be going on?? Why would she feel like that? Did i do anything wrong at all by asking that question of her (even though i was only partly serious)

Masturbating while with someone and masturbating while alone are two different things.

When you're masturbating while with someone, that person is part of your sexual experience. Part of the thrill and the fun of masturbating with someone else is turning them on as much as you are...your facial expressions might be different, you might arch your back a little more, bite your lip a little harder, moan a little more...

When you're alone, you're in it for the moment...you're touching yourself exactly where and how you like to be touched, and the entire point of the exercise is to get off....its purely selfish, and a true party of one...when you walked in, her first instinct was guilt because you caught her...not that she was doing anything wrong, she just got caught in a very vulnerable and intimate time. That's really embarrassing! There's also the off chance that you MIGHT have been mad...many a great masturbatory session has been misconstrued as a signal that the missing partner was no longer sexually desirable, when frankly it is usually the missing partner that is the mental and visual stimuli for the session in the first place!

As for you guys not making love as often, that might account for you catching her masturbating...you didn't really do anything wrong for asking her that question, but you probably embarrassed her more by teasing her about it (even though it was meant to make her laugh and NOT be so embarrassed...)

Aw maybe she just feels a bit embarassed or guilty at being caught. Seems irrational but it's just natural really, I always feel embarassed if I'm doing it in the daytime, like I'm some kind of sex-obsessive or something. Maybe she was just exploring some fantasies in her mind? I wouldn't get overly concerned about it.

I think you might be over-reacting just a little bit. It might be a good idea just to ask her if she feels like there is something missing in your relationship right now.

well maybe she was doing that because she dont want to make love, or maybe she was just bored, lol if i was walked in on i would feel kinda guilty to but thats just me, give her time, it will pass!
