What is your idea about Dell in compare with HP laptops?

Question

What's your choice between the best HP and Dell laptop?
Think that you have found a Dell laptop with the best specifications with really suitable price.But when you see a HP laptop with Remote your idea maybe change.But HP is more expensive than dell near 300-350 $ for the same specification as Dell

Dell laptops are worth it if you go with the higher end models. The cheaper models by dell aren't really worth the price, you don't get as much stuff as say HP (less ram, smaller harddrive..etc.). You said that the specifications are the same though..so yeah, go with the Dell. Dell computers are real reliable plus the costumer service is great if something does happen. Dude it's a Dell

In reagards to the previous answer. HP bought out compaq so they sell both compaq and their brand (pavillion)

I've owned both Dell and Pavillion and have had no problems with either. I learned that the Pavillion can't work when milk has been spilled on it while in use. (I'm sure Dell won't either - and I'm not going to find out)

The reason i switched was the company I worked for only went with Dell for all their national offices. They were always reliable so I chose to switch when my HP started curdling.

get an hp workstation, yet dont continuously fee it, and verify that the fan is getting air, not the warmth stuff from below the place it somewhat is resting. tha is how my hp have been given burned out. Hp's are greater advantageous besides.

Gateways and HP's all come out of the box with software problems. They also get kind of finicky about booting up sometimes. Hp's usu. come with better Graphics cards though.

Dells are much better built machines, you get better service, and you actually get discs for the software that comes with your machine..........I would go with the Dell. HP's are Compaqs in disguise........not worthy of my money.
