I feel just fine about it. Our season is over for all intents and purposes. I say it's a great thing to give the rest of the season over to Cutler for some seasoning so he'll be ready for battle next year. Do any Bronco fans disagree with this? Sorry, I'm stuck in Indiana and surrounded by Indy and Bears fans, and tired of not being able to discuss the Broncos with anyone in this area. Yeah, yeah, pass me the crying towel.

Hmm... Interesting answer libra. I don't think it indicates we are quitting on our team. I think it indicates that our only goal is the Super Bowl, and we're never getting there with Plummer at the helm. I know technically we still have a shot at the playoffs, but reality seems to indicate we won't see that. My husband, a Bear's fan, says after seeing Cutler in the preseason he wouldn't be surprised to see him lead the Broncos to winning every remaining game right into the playoffs. Gotta love an optimist, and yep, anything's possible.

I am a die hard Broncos fan in DC surrounded by Skins and Ravens fans. I feel your pain. I like Plummer, I think he has been a good quarterback, but he isnt getting it done. I feel that Cutler could do no worse than not get it done. I am excited about some new blood. Bring on Cutler and lets get back into it.

A 40+ year Bronco fan here. I am surprised that Shanahan would do this but after the last few weeks it is apparent his patience with Plummer is over. I think Cutler will make a fine QB but I'm not so sure his impact will be immediate enough to get Denver into the playoffs this year. Overall, I guess I trust Shanahan. We'll see.

I think they need to do something to shake up the offense because that is what is killing them. The good or bad of that, the QB is always the target when that happens. Jake has had 1 good game this year, the rest have been mediocre at best. Cutler had a great preseason and Denver has always been a great offensive team - so the hammer will come down on Jake soon enough.
Go Broncos!!!

Jake Plummer is inconsistent, and a constant achilles heel for the team. I wouldn't usually say that you should replace a QB this late in the season but if the broncos have any chance of cleaning up and making the playoffs they have to go with Jay and i think that he is good enough to become the franchise QB he just needs experience and this is a good opportunity.

I didn't want to believe it. I was chalking it up to the stupid media being sharks seeing blood in the water. . I can tell you one thing. I think its the stupidest thing they could ever do. And it will makes me question Shanahan as a coach. Plummer is just one element of the team. The defense has given up so many points and I really questioned the playcalling in the Chargers game. To not have Plummer rollout in his trademark fashion is insane. I mean the guy is the best at that. IT slike telling Tom Brady oh I know you are a real good pocket passer but lets have you rollout all damn game. Give me a break. There are so many problems. And to bench Plummer is liking using him as the scape goat. And I think that is pretty shitty. I am a long time Plummer fan and I think this is a terribly wrong move. Plummers got an incredible heart and he busts his *** every game. THe first time I saw that was when he played in the Rosebowl with his ASU sundevils. His efforts were heroic and in that one game he gained a fan for life. Cutler looked good in preseason but that was preseason. I admit I liked him but I've been backing Plummer for wow almost a decade and I've really enjoyed watching him play. I think people have given up on him too soon. ANd its sad really. Don't get me wrong I want to see him succeed to the big dance but its not the end all with me. I just love watching him play. Hes the reason I became a Denver fan anyways. You can't teach that big huge heart that guy has inside of him. I Feel terrible for him but I guess my one thought of comfort is that he is a really good QB and he will find a new team and I can continue to cheer him on......

They did what they felt needed to be done. Personally I'm a Broncos fan, and I think they should have stuck with Jake, but we will have to see what Jay Cutler does. I will still root for the team no matter who's under center.

The Broncos still have a chance to make the playoffs, Cutler will get his chance. Jake led them to the AFC Championship last year. He's not that bad a guy. He just chokes every once in a while.

I blame this on Mcdaniels! he receives the 2d proper offense contained in the league and he comes to a decision he needs to target to get Casell?? Is he ******* stupid or what?? why doesnt he commerce the total Broncos crew for the Patriots?? appears like thats what he needed. he has picked up absolutely each and every ex patriots loose agent there is. I agree Cutler became being a cry toddler, yet i will take cry toddler that has a rocket arm and a vivid destiny contained in the league over what??? Orton??? are you f**ing kidding me??? Kyle Orton as our placing out QB??? This moron receives the 2d proper offense contained in the league or perhaps earlier the season starts we get KYLE ORTON!!!! it truly is gonna be a lengthy season... inspite of both first round options, not something is for particular! lets genuinely get the subsequent Alex Smith.... Cutler turned right into a shown QB. Orton is average at proper! shall we not even waste time in this loser! i rather Sims starts than this guy. decrease him. thanks Mcdaniels for taking a huge promote off contained in the total Broncos company!

The season is not over yet. They still have a chance to make the playoffs. I think it is bad to sit Jake for Jay right now ....
