Ultimately I believe the MAN should be the boss in the family. To make the major decisions on where and how the family unit should be heading. Would be heading. The MAN should also have a good head on his shoulders. A responsible man.

The woman on the other hand should make ALL the decisions in the house. The love nest. She decides the colour, the decor, the rugs, the kitchen etc etc. She builds the nest. He builds the home and provides.

Is it 50-50? Maybe 60-40. A ship without a captain, sails no where.

in our home, we both discuss what we would like to do and if one party is not in favour, we find a compromise. it eliminates a lot of unnecessary arguements over trivial matters and problems after a decision is made.
