the ATI X800 only came as AGP or PCI-E, which is a different port then PCI, alas.

Whatever graphics card you get, make sure it is PCI based. However you should know that PCI-E and AGP is much faster performance than PCI. This doesn't mean you wont get a huge benefit from a PCI based card - you surely will. Even PCI has a huge performance boost if the graphics card is good. Good luck and happy computing!

Check the manual for your graphics card to see if your motherboard is compatible. If it is not there, contact the maker of either the motherboard or the graphics card and ask them.
