I've done something really stupid and now my bestfriend of 5 yrs hates me and wont talk to me...what should i do??

You let her know how truly sorry you are...she may not forgive you right away and all you can do is give it time. You can call her maybe every month and say "Hi how are you...if you have some time, perhaps we can get together and grab a coffee and do some catching up"

Tell them you are truly sorry. If they will let you say more don't try to explain away things or give excuses for anything--accept responsibility for what you did and that you caused them hurt, then say you are truly sorry for that.

Try asking for forgiveness. some really hold onto a chip on there shoulder a long time. Otherwise just move on.
