Not sure where you are located but Filene's Basement has a GREAT bridal event. Check out the website below to find a store near you.
Another option is to check with major department stores in your area (bloomingdales, macy's, etc.) Many times they hold sample sales, or deeply discounted sales events on last season's gowns.

i would check david's bridal... they have nice one and they can be real in expensive...
