people are generally idiots, I've found.. what the heck is a carbooter? sounds funny... Ebay thrives on people not reading the fine print though, I messed up on buying a set of speakers for $20, then saw that shipping was $39. Even I'm an idiot sometimes!

I've never had a bad purchase off Ebay-but then I've always read the description closely. If you don't take the time to read things properly-you deserve to get done over!

no, but many get all wrapped up in the eagerness of bidding that they dont read the small print...
I've seen it many times for good and bad...
I've been buyers moaning about the cost of postage (even though it's clearly marked on postal)
I've seen sellers getting negative feedback over not getting their items out quick enough...
but as i said, i think some people just get so wrapped up in buying an item they dont think some of the rest of the description is important...
I just bought a dvd from hong kong and asked the seller about 3 questions before buying...

A lot of people get swept up in the moment of finding a bargain and feel they have to get a bid in before someone else does I think.
People, generally, do not read enough. We would get in less sticky financial situations if we all read the small print.
