God does not equal love! God created love. There is nothing that equals God and we as the human race cannot even come close to the point of imagining God as God really is.
Somewhere the idea that God equals love has taken hold of us and we do not realize that the Almighty God created this emotion, it does not equal Him, it does however show a majestic part of Him that we can accept or reject.

You are correcto mundo,(except for the understanding part) and to add to that, love is creation, all things are created in an unconditional mind, remembering that all is not perfect but created out of love from G-D. So it is good, bad, and indifferent, that is unconditional love. He loves all and it is forever. Understanding is what we lend in our lifetime for love because we will not ever know it's entirety for we are not G-D. But appreciation is the key word, and if indifference is the opposite of love than it is up to us to appreciate the love given in what ever capacity, and understand we must have patience to enjoy that cup that in our opinions are just half full. In other words, live, laugh, love and be happy, in love with love forever.

What does that mean and why is it important? The fact is, that God is love, he is forgiving and merciful, etc. But he is only to Christians. God may be love but that doesnt mean he is all loving. In the same way that God is not all merciful, he is not all loving. To say God loves those that go to hell is fallacy.

I believe that God and love are equal because no one can love like God. God loves us completely even though we continually disappoint God.

search tom likis(may had spelled it wrong) on the internet go to his site, the guy has his own radio show, hes a real *** hole and some of his stuff is crappy, but he has alot of stories of love gone sour.
