Projection.
Nazism was called National SOCIALISM for a reason. It grew out of marxist thought just like liberalism did. Note that all marxist movements have perpetrated the crime against humanity of genocide. The Nazis did it. The russians did it. The chinese and north koreans did it. The cubans did it. The list goes on and on and there have been no exceptions.
Before you start to think liberals and other western marxists are the exception, understand that they have worked tirelessly and largely successfully in preventing western governments, especially the US and even the UN from interfering in these genocides..
The reason nazism so closely mirrors the liberals in behavior is because they are the same thing, just under a different name. Same underlying principles. Same root doctrine. But, most important of all....same behavior.
Think about this for a minute:
http://www.nrlc.org/abortion/facts/abortionstats.html
Think about the sheer number (which amounts to 1 in 4 pregnancies....a staggering amount). Does that not qualify as a genocide? The most disturbing thing about this is it is not something the liberals did to us, as much as it is something the liberals managed to convince us to do to ourselves. And it goes on largely unnoticed and unremarked upon. At least when the nazis were sending stormtroopers around in jackboots to knock down people's doors and drag them off to the showers and the ovens, people knew something was wrong. With this type of genocide, no one even notices anything is amiss.
Diabolical.

Thank you. I never thought of it that way. I always knew that the liberals only called conservatives Nazis because they are immature children who enjoy name-calling and have no real intelligent comments to make. However, I never realized that THEIR agenda is really very close to the Nazi agenda (genocide aside, of course).
I hope the liberals are as willing to take credit for all of the ills that happen during the next two years as they were willing to point fingers and blame for the last four. We'll see if they're really ready to step up to the plate and be adults, or if they'll still blame everything on others.

in basic terms understand that the "Socialist" moniker is deceptive. Hitler railed against communism in Mein Kampf, blamed the commies for the Reichstag hearth after he got here to ability, and slaughtered 2 million communists. Interning the eastern substitute into between the few blunders that FDR made. as a substitute, he could have rounded up the Bund (American Nazis) and had them deported.

Yes, I've noticed this as well. The liberals just can't accept that their ideas are flawed and not good for America. It all sounds good, and in a perfect world, it would work.
However, there are people in this world who are simply lazy, greedy, mean, and/or vile. It's like saying that we're causing crime by locking our doors at night. If we just trusted everyone, then no one would have their feelings hurt by not being trusted, and there would be no crime.
In a perfect world, you don't need to lock your doors. In the real world you do. In a perfect world, you could walk the streets of downtown after dark. In the real world...not such a good idea.
Sorry liberals, but we must live in the world of reality and protect ourselves from bad people. When you grow up, you'll understand.

Amen! It's absolutely frightening that some people are allowed to vote. They want the government to have overwhelming power over our lives - as long as their side is in power.
They forget about the DEATHS at Ruby Ridge and Waco, Texas under Clinton's rule, but they are suddenly terrified that the government might be able to listen to the phone calls of a few suspected terrorists.
Get real, liberals. You're on the wrong side of history. Conservatives = freedom. Liberals = slaves to government.

What you are talking about is policy not government identity. The liberal agenda of the United States would be the conservative agenda of the Soviet Union.
The Conservatives of the United States are compared to Nazis because of Hitler's ideas for returning the status quo back to the days of old. Realizing a great past of Bismark and Charlemange in the Present. The comparision is legitimate if you can separate the fundementals of philosophys from the atrocites of the Nazis.

They just use whatever bogeyman name they can, historic facts be damned.
And one of those lefty people made some bogus list about 14 characteristics of a fascist government, and they were very, very vague, and most were not even factually applicable to the US, but they tried to paint the Bush administration as fascistic, which is pure fiction.
You should hear them argue that the nazis weren't socialist at all...

I must say I really completely and totally abhor the trivialization of the Holocaust in all its horrific aspects.
There is no need to compare the Nazis with anyone - they are beyond comparison.
Only let us recognize evil when we see it and fight it with all our might and not ignore it and pretend it will go away.

Religious fanatacism, death, intolerance, imperialism, bookburnings, stereotyping, gaybashing, nationalism......all Nazi/conservative values.
In fact, expression and liberal thinking suffered the most under the Nazis/Republicans.
You are speaking of liberal economic policies, but those policies only applied to citizens that were not Jewish, gay, black, or of a lesser race than true German. So, it was actually a very conservative agenda meant to further only a certain segment of the population; similar to the conservative agenda that got a strong rebuke in the last American election.
I love democracy, I hate Nazism/conservativism.
Cheers!

Most don't. Those who do are incapable of rational discourse so they resort to name calling. They are guilty of trivializing the Holocaust.
