There is a number of wonderful beaches here. It all depends where on the island you will be staying. In Portland there is Winifred Beach, In Ocho Rios there is Dunns River Falls & beach, In Montego Bay there is Aquasol Beach. There is lots to choose from but anywhere you decide on going guaranteed you will have fun.

let me tell you something,if you are looking for Beach's your definitely in the wright place of the world,there are numerous beaches there,from rural Portland in the east, to the more developed Negril areas in Westmoreland in the west end of the island.

Portland Dragons bay,Winifred,and a few others,there is also the famous blue lagoon(famous in the minds of Hollywood celebs, And of course Portlanders alike) that is located east of Portantonio ,i know that not a beaches but you will enjoy if you visit trust me,fairly developed and recently changes hands in ownership.

St.Ann,there is of course world re-nown Duns river falls and beach.

St,James,there is the Aquasol beach and complex favorite for locals and visitors alike,and Doctors cave, which is by far acclaimed to be the best in the city,there is also sunset beach,further west of doctors cave beach which is free.
All beaches in Montego Bay are within walking distance,and they are all located on the Hip strip,Bottom road or official name, Gloucester avenue.

Well i could not leave without letting you know about Negril,known for party go ers and Beautiful sunsets and seven miles of beach,great restaurants,good entertainment avenues,well go check it out for your self words can't describe.do hope that i helped,good luck,gone 5 months and feeling home sick.
