Now you know how your parents felt...as kids we were happy to receive all the gifts, but now, being on the buying end, it's not all fun.

The loss of God in the event and too many outside dept stores starting the season too early, By the time the holidays roll around everyone is worn out .Just a family get together for a good meal and a fire burmning was enough in the past but now there is no family units that stays connected ,,,Very sad,

credit cards, cost of living rising with the min wage staying where it is, Internet, games, attitude, selfishness, materialism, war, hatred, medicine for every ailment & then a medicine for that, kids being ungrateful, kids being self disciplined, no family dinners, latch key kids, kids trying to be grown, grown ups trying to be young, parents wanting to be friends instead of disiplinaries, the job that puts food on the table becoming more important than family at the dinner table, cable t.v., babies having babies, adultry, divorce, kids with guns, kids dealing drugs, meth, rape, incest, obesity, king-sized everything.... it just goes on & on people. unfortunately...

We have all fallen to the sell-out now more than when we were kids. Christmas is nothing more than a celebration of our vomitous consumer culture.

people are broke. taxes are unreal, it costs to much to drive a car, heck it even cost a fortune to have someone watch your kid just so you can work.
