That is just the way they are. Except them as they really are, or find something else to pick on!! Leave the poor ole salty dry crackers alone!!

Actually there are many crackers that are sweet. In England, where there are many many crackers, they call them biscuits and a majority are sweet and even moist (fruit jam on the top don't cha know).

Travel a bit, get out see the world, log off and live!

Because they are crackers. You can buy the crackers with no salt, which in my opinion would be, why bother?
