It all depends on the person and the depth of their feelings and emotions. Most likely the new boyfriend is just a crutch or a way to feel good to get over feeling bad.
Everyone heals at their own pace, some are quicker then others, the best thing to do is to make sure you make every effort to heal and not sit and dwell on the past.

The one who wants and seeks a divorce is the one who usually moves on quickly. However, the one who didnt see it coming is the one who's usually atta total loss. Thus, requires much time to pull it together. But worry not, there IS life after divorce.....
AND it's usually much better.

The one that finds someone new quickly is probably thinking that is who they want, but when it comes to going to certain places or events, they badly miss the ex. They could just be using the new person for company to move on, but that may not be what they really want.

You are probably not aware of the timing. It's likely the boyfriend was in the picture BEFORE the divorce started.
It certainly is a possibility.

One was for the divorce, the other one wasn't. The one that was is ready to live their life and move on.

Probably the divorce was his idea, that should be a clue. It will get better, just keep living and try not to think so much!

the ex wanted the marriage to end long before the marriage actually ended, therefore she mentally ended it a long time ago.
