length of time known. ok listen if you just met, it aint love, never is when you first meet. infatuations turn into love over time and not all at once. you wont really know it is love until the love has grown big enough to see it over the infatuation.
there is absolutely nothing wrong with infatuation - that is how i met the love of MY life. - going on 6 years now.

Up to about 15 months is infatuation by that time the giddy butterflies disappear and so does the lust factor and something more enduring begins to develop. If you have to ask yourself if it's love or infatuation the chances are its infatuation. Love is a sure thing in a person's mind and heart.

Imagine that person missing a body part and you have to take care of them. If you can honestly do that, then it's love. If you can't, then it's infatuation. Thank you.
