It depends a lot on the type of glue..if its an acetate solvent type, then Im afraid your disc may be permanently damaged.

gently damp a rag and then rup the glue off with the damp rag

whatever you do, dont use vinegar. try a damp cloth, and if needed, you can try a little bit of xtra mild soap.

depends top or bottom... carefully scrape it off the bottom with a warm rag if it is on top... dont touch it cds and dvds film layer is on top...

you could try alcohol sometimes that works just to loosen it up
