i completely agree, i'm kinda sick of the whole "overrated thing" too. It's the nfl people, there are a lot of talented players on every team out there and it's a very unpredictable sport, on any given sunday, monday (and now saturday and thursday) the best team in the league can loose to the worst team.

I coach kids hockey, which has nothing to do with football, but all youth leagues no matter the sport is suppose to teach one thing. That one thing is sportsmanship. It seems to me when I was playing youth sports through out the '80s and '90s all I heard about every other day was sportsmanship. Now, that I am the coach I haven't heard any other coach preach any kind of sportsmanship. What I do here though is: "It's all about winning, no other team is better than you, and ect." That's bull. Any team can beat any team. No matter how tough your opponent is or how bad they may be you need to show some respect. Me, I'm a NE fan. I ran into a Bears fan after yesterday's game and he was telling me the Pats had no business beating the Bears. My only response to him was the fact that he had no business putting down a team the way he was.

Honestly I think it comes from two things, one there is much greater parity in the NFL these days, very few teams are proving to "locks" on any given Sunday, we are going to end up with 11-5 teams getting a "bye" in the playoffs.
That being said, there is a terrible general decline in good manners, not just in the US but everywhere. This can really come out when one deals also with the anonymity of the Internet. Its sad!
(Who else thinks that the word "overrated" has been TOTALLY overrated this year?)

the main hyped up participant on the 49ers merely left the gang, and that fluctuate into Dashon Goldson. don't get me incorrect, I enjoyed staring at Goldson play, yet his hyper-aggressiveness added approximately lapses in coverage that harm the 49ers. Goldson is powerful, yet his homestead-run form can harm a team that doesn't have authentic-notch CBs. paradoxically, with the advancements Tampa Bay made with their secondary, he would be a much better extra healthful with them than in SF. As for this 3 hundred and sixty 5 days's team, i'm unsure who's the main hyped up, i'm going to could see how the season shapes up (yet i'm leaning in the direction of Carlos Rogers).

They are fans with no class out there. I'm sure all 32 teams are represented well in this situation.
