the few videos that worked on my ipod dont work anymore- i can hear the sound of the video, but instead of watching it, all i see is the picture (you know, like the first second of the video or whatever...?)?!?!?!?
also, how do i put videos on my ipod to begin with???

I've had similar problems with my Ipod video playing videos. At times the videos are not in sync with the audio or the frame would just freeze when I play the video. You could try doing One of the two following.
1. Try to upgrade the firmware on your ipod, perhaps the firmware you have on it may need an update that fixes the playback of the videos.
2. Try using ImTOO ipod converter to convert your videos and then just drag and drop the converted video in to iTunes. This should work for you. There are many other utilities out there that will help you convert videos. Just google Ipod video coverter and you will find many video converters.

Switch hold on and off then press and hold the menu and select buttons or play and pause buttons for about 10 seconds, apple icon should pop and it should reset. If not, repeat.
