I have been looking at colleges and people have told me that UIC is impossible to get into but I really want to go to that school. If anyone could please help me answer this question that would be great!!

UIC does focus on class rank and ACT/SAT scores. The average ACT is a 23-24, and the average class rank is about the top quarter. LAS is the easiest college for undergrads to be accepted, and Engineering is the hardest. They do rate class rank more highly than ACT/SAT.
UIC is considered to be a more selective school.

They focus more on GPA and class ranking than test scores and thorughout the years, it has progressively been harder and harder to get in to. If you have a solid GPA and a good class ranking, you should do fine.
