i heard on the news that troy polamalu had a knee injury that was said to be serious..does anyone know for sure if it is season ending??..also what play did it happen on?...

Not sure what play it happened on, but it was in the 3rd quarter. The papers here are saying a sprained medial collateral ligament. Cowher said significant, but Troy says he'll be back in two weeks. So far no reports of having to have surgery. Either way the Steelers hope for a repeat are over.

I heard it is a serious knee injury. With their current record and them not looking like they will make the playoffs, it should be season ending.

i watched the whole game and didn't see where it happened, i've hear reports that it was season ending and that bill cowher called it a significant injury, aside from that i really haven't heard anything else
