I guess not all that much. I put up with it for twenty years with my first wife. But the good outweighed the bad, and it wasn't like I didn't have any faults, so I pretty much ignored it. At times it made me wince, but that's about it.

What I didn't like was her paying more for stuff than she needed to, but women, I guess, enjoy shopping as much or more than they enjoy the stuff they buy.

But I have come to be sorta disgusted in the time since she left with rampant consumerism of any sort - I.E. buying not only more than you need, but more than you can even use. But men are just as guilty as women of that. They'll gripe about the little ladie's shoe collection, but act like a 40 inch flat screen TV to watch the Packers on is an absolute neccessity.

well unless she has a shopping adddiction or spend money that she doesn't have to spend (like where clothes shopping cuts into food shopping) it;s a matter of opinion.

my boyfriend thinks I have too amny clothes and don't need to get a pedicure when he'll help me do my toes at home for free.
I think he rents too many movies, too often and is willing to spend too much on electronics- he doesn't see it the way I do.

No, why would you care? If there are no financial strains, let her have her fun.
