Or joining a club in University?I want more soical events to happen in my life, as I am pretty frustrated and bored.

you can join both. Go to one term time and the other in the holidays.

If you can do both, then do so. If you have to make a choice of one, join a club where there is some kind of shared task of interest i.e. working together on a project or activity. In this way you will get to interact with people more readily.
Joining a martial arts club would be great but wouldn't necessarily get you talking with people and having fun.

well i suggest you should do Jujitsu as karatie and judo copied from jujitsu and its alot fun keeps you fit to. last weekend we had a do at a club all from jujitsu realy great from meeting people if you live near Accrington let me no i tell you
