We shouldn't be there. Our presence is only fueling the violence. If we got out they would only have each other to fight.

The only honest reason I can give you is, it is our fault Iraq is the way it is now. So it is our responsibility to leave it better than we found it, or the same as it was before, at least. The question is are we willing to sacrifice our relatives, friends and neighbors to do so? I personally am not.

We got the major threat out of Irag, sadam,
So why are we still there, all we are doing is pissing more and more muslims off.
If I were them I would attack the troops too. We all want our freedom and privacy, but we are not giving it to iraq, all our government is doing is trying to install American beliefs into the middle east.

Because Iraq needs some stability at the minute.
The US can stay there as long as it wants as far as I'm concerned, if that means British troops get out of the firing line.
