I have to dress up glam rock style- what does that involve- any good ideas on a budget plz for hair, make up and clothes.

Someone mean put thumbs down on all the answers but I think they're great- keep them coming! It's for glam rock weeken at Lush where I work, so sadly I can't change it to punk rock, though that sounds like fun!

Think long curly hair, plenty of glitter and platform shoes. Search for the following bands: Slade, The Sweet. T-Rex (Marc Bolan) or just 'glam rock' to see pictures and get ideas.

Glam metallic. The glam metallic bands that are particularly metallic, besides (Mötley Crüe, Twisted Sister). not those that are in basic terms gussied up not undemanding rock (Poison, Cinderella). BQ1: David Bowie BQ2: do not pay attention to glam punk BQ3: Mötley Crüe Lol @ homophobe.

David Bowie was one of the big Glam rock people. Try pick punk hair and high outrague shoes

glam rock as in pop or goth? goth involves more black and glitter combinations, with big, black hair (with possible streaks of bright colors), and lots of makeup. the pants should be tight and black or a short torn up skirt. top shoud be a fitted band tee.
if you're going for pop, follow that one girl's advice and just look like abba. i, personally, would go with the darker look, just because it's more fashionable than abba. lmao.

Platform boots, anything sparkly and retro. Also they wore bell-bottom trousers. Make-up has to really sparkly and way out and your hair you could just back-comb it and srpay some glitter hairspray on it.

headband in a hot pink or dark color
shiny bracelets
gloves w/o the fingers
leggings
mini skirt
shirt w/ a skull
and probably some thick eyeliner w/ sparkly eyeshadow..not too much though!
