how did you make a picture next to your id?

Go to your profile and go to edit the public view and then click get my avatar and follow the steps. If you want ur real pic I think you have to load it onto your 360 page and then use your 360 pic as your y/a pic.

Click on your name next to your profile shadow pic, choose edit my info. There is a picture option where you can upload an actual picture, or you can edit your Avatar. (the cartoon faces) It is a neat little area where you get to choose your hair, clothes, background,...... Just select which one you wish to use.
