Can anyone reccomend a face cream for sensitive skin. i often used clinqiue or dermologica. Can anyone reccomend a cream that isnt so expensive. Iv used aqueous and vasaline intensive care but there just not the same.

I have very sensitive skin as well. I use the Proactive moisutrizer. It has SPF in it and is very light so it won't clog my pores. I also use Stila's tinted moiturizer. It also has SPF 15 in it and is great for our type of skin. I have used Clinique in the past and it just didn't seem to get the job done. It is all about trial and error. Some moisturizers work for some people while it doesn't work for others. I highly recommend the two I mentioned here.

I have sensitive skin too and had the same cost problem! I used to use Darphin and Dior with the attached big price tag. But found that many cheap products reacted badly with my skin. So now I use Champneys, although not cheap they are more middle of the range pricing and so a lot more affordable without losing the quality.

If you have dry skin as well quality olive oil from your kitchen is a good cheap moisturizer. its full of vitamins as well from the olives and you only need a few small drops on damp skin. It might work for you because it contains no preservatives and its only one single ingredient as opposed to a dozen or more in a mass brand thus you cant pinpoint what is making your face sensitive. I would suggest avoiding preservatives in skincare and makeup to start. I had sensitive skin til I switched to natural skincare and avoided preservatives as much as possible.
By natural, you still need to read the ingredients and understand how your face reacts to them. Lots of natural brands are not totally natural and its just a marketing ploy. Other oils like coconut, grapeseed, jojoba, almond are also good for your skin depending on the heaviness you want.
The Aromatherapy Bible is a good book to start to understand oils.
Also a book by Rosemary Gladstar on making your own skincare is also a good start in controling what can make your face sore.

I've been using Oil of Olay Complete for Sensitive skin. It costs about $8 at Wally World for 8-12oz. It's light and works all day.

Lancome Aqua Fusion is expensive but ideal for sensitive dry skin and worth paying that little bit extra in the long run

Cetaphil
Is for sensitive skin does not smell like anything or has dyes and it works I use it as night cream.
The soap is good as well for the face. (If you add a bit of baking soda to the Cetaphil soap and wash your face with it it is a good exfoliator).

simple do a hydrating light moisturiser £2.88 for 125ml and tesco do a sensitive skin moisturising cream £1.99 for 75ml. I've got sensitive skin too so I know how you feel. I dont use water on my face I use johnsons 3 in 1 cleansing wipes for sensitive skin and use bio oil which is around £6.95 for 60ml, it lasts for ages.

I have a very sensitive skin. I use 'OLAY' daily use moisturizing cream (it comes in a little pot with a black lid/cap) that combats uva and uvb rays. Works great. Keep the skin super soft.

i use cetaphil, and sometimes, when funds are tight, i use the wal-mart brand equivalent, which runs about $4.50 for a 16 oz. bottle. it's great stuff, and works well on my entire body, but is light enough for my face. the cleanser is excellent, too.
by the way, i have extremely sensitive skin and this product has never given me any trouble.
