Cause it looks gross and painful. YUCK I don't mind the small nose piercing or the eyebrow but if you put more than one or two and you use huge rings it's just awful and overkill.

I find it sad when people pierce their eyebrow, because it almost always gets rejected. Then they wind up with a scar for life, and no more piercing.
Sad.
It can be a good look, when done right, while it lasts.
Other facial piercings - isn't that part of the idea, to annoy old folks who just don't get it?

It draws attention away from their actual face/appearance. It's kinda like a distraction like when I see people with piercings on their cheeks, labret, eyelid, eyebrow, or lip etc. I'm paying more attention to that instead of everything else.
and I wouldn't say I hate it, I would call it more as being different.

What floors me is why would a good looking girl would want to completely screw up her looks by piercing a lip, nose or eyebrow. I would not even consider dating this person. To complain after have a piercing when people make fun of them is ludicrus. If you are going to look like a circus freak. You had better be ready to take the crap dished out by others.
As for jobs when they get older. You have to take the employers point of view. Do you want this person waiting on your customers, especially if they are older customers? Qualified or not how you look and present yourself will get you jobs or loose you jobs. Most employers don't want people that look like they belong in the circus.

I have never been curious about this answer.
I have many piercings; facial and otherwise. I do them for me, because I like them and want them and disregard all opinion of others. They are not what matters.

We still have alot of people that are old fashion and that think that only your ears are for piercings. And then you have the other group of people that will just think that your crazy or some kind of punk. But i say screw them and do what you want to do their just jealous.

it turns out that when we 'see' something, a part of us experiences it. like when people are watching football, some part of their brain is doing it. if you watch someone do something that 'hurts' then you will feel some pain, too.
so it actually causes other people to feel pain as if they
had the procedure/device, too. They feel uncomfortable.
if you were watching someone get tortured, you would be
involved. it would bother you. that is what is bothering them.
it's a human brain situation. we at some level experience
everything we see. it is not so distant. we feel your pain.

I hate people that DON'T have facial piercings!!!
Not really, but I have multiple facial piercings that I love dearly!
