i personally never in my life liked disney chennel because i think its g** all that fake out krap but i know that other people on this site is going to diagree with me because they like but i just wanted to know why people watch it

Well my 3 year lod daughter loves some of the shows on it.
And most of the ones that she watches are educational, to an extent.
So while I may not really care about it, my daughter loves it, and that means so do I.

Because most other channels are full of crap. I had cable for awhile and finally cancelled it when I realized I was only watching Disney channel. Nothing else was decent or entertaining. TV is lacking in good programming. Disney is mostly clean, but I'm not a little kid, I can't bear to watch the same 5 movies over and over again.

I have to agree with the poster who mentioned Zorro.
Some of the shows are too bubble-gummy, like Hanna Montana and That's so Raven. I think Nick and Dis stay up all night coming up with shows to compete against each other.
Anywho what's wrong with the old cartoons. The only new ones that make the cut are Buzz Lightyear, the Proud family, Lion King (that was on One Saturday Morning on ABC), and Recess but I knew these shows would run their course. Like major prime zeetas competas!!!

The Disney Channel is for kids and family...I think this channel is great because at least we know there is not going to be anything inappropriate things that a child might see, which is on most other channels at times....if you think its g@y...then turn the channel.

Disney channel is mainly designed for younger viewers when you have kids and don't want them watching a bunch of crap then they watch disney. My daughter is watching the Doodlebops as we speak. I am grown but I watch Raven, Zach and Cody, and Hannah Montana so to each its own

The Disney channel targets younger veiwers. The younger people that watch it dont think its fake and dont even have a concept of what G@y is. If you dont like it dont watch it..... they dont make it for you.

maybe because they like the shows on it. there is a lot of gay stuff like high school musical. but there are also a lot of good shows too. and if you don't like it, that's fine. everyone's entitled to their opinion.
