Yes they have. Grossman is starting to realize he is Rex Grossman, the defense is becoming exposed for what they are and other teams are figuring out how to beat 'em. They'll make the playoffs but get beat first round.

No I do not believe that that the bears have peeked. even though Rex has been in the league a few years due to injuries he is still a rookie when it comes to actual game experience. And as far as it goes for the defense peeking that is hardly believable because the still have room to improve, very little room but room non the less. So just because they slipped up against the Dolphins and got beat by the Patriots does not mean they have peeked, no ones perfect and even the greatest teams get beat every now and again!

Come on let's all get real. The Bears are just starting out again with a new QB,after 13 others in 15 seasons. How many teams can match that stat..lol.Rex is top notch and with time will improve like any other QB in the pros.Give a sample of a QB ,in his first full yr.leading his division with out some up or downs. The Bears are not going away, except it, and their defense showed how fearsome they are . Besides they are not going to wait till next year either. "Monsters of the Midway"

Perhaps, but I can't help pointing out that the Bears have lost to two AFC teams. I still believe the AFC, overall, is much more talented than the NFC.
Not to say the Dolphins are a superior team to the Bears...they were just more talented than the Bears gave them credit for causing Chicago to look past them. The Patriots, however, may just turn that lilting ship around and start their own peak on their run to four championships in six years.
I still believe the only NFC competition the Bears could face would be a healthy Seattle Seahawk team. Otherwise, they should have pretty clear sailing to the NFC Championship...barring injuries or unforeseen blown officiating (but that never happens).

I'm thinkin' BEARS all the way baby! Once I drive to Chicago and stick my foot up Rex Grossmans BUTT that is! He'll play better next week. He isn't CONSISTENTLY bad. And the Pats are a tough team. Da Bears are the Monsters of the Midway...just have to get that QB on board.....dangit.

I was at the game yesterday, and that defense was not bending. They played an excellent AFC team they hardly ever play and that game was very close. They may have peaked, but that doesn't mean they aren't in for a deep playoff run, considering their record and potential home field advantage in the playoffs.

I agree. A team with a good QB can beat the Bears D. Look out for Dallas in the playoffs.

I think they peeked in week 3. They're surviving on they're defense. Rex Grossman needs to be benched if they want to make it past the first game in the playoffs.

I think that the Bears are on the way down...Thier QB is not that good and without putting points on the board there are teams that are just going to keep coming after them and they are going to loose to a team that has a decent offense...Look at the Pats game...
