I cooked a molasses-glazed turkey and a brown sugar balck forest ham. I also made this delicous stuffing. It was just the stove top but once it was done I added some french cut style green beans and mixed veggies and then stuffed the turkey and baked it in the oven for about four hours. I took all the stuff to my mom's new house and we ate A LOT!!!
I didn't even watch the parade or football :(
It was good though :)

I spent the day in bed recovering from Strep Throat that was diagnosed the day before. I did watch the Macy's Parade. My daughter brought my husband and myself turkey dinner, but I couldn't eat it. Filled up on cranberry sauce and "green garbage"-a jello, cottage cheese and fruit mixture. Watched the Kansas City Plaza lights go on from home instead of out in the crowd on a wonderfully warm night.

I had flown down to Ft Lauderdale to celebrate with my daughter and family and to see the new grandchild. I had my two older grandchildren sleep over with my 18 year old daughter and myself in the hotel. We watched the parade and then the kids went swimming. After that I helped cook at my daughter's and we had dinner and played with the baby. Took pictures. It was great.

My band, The Kreeps, ate at the China Buffet. Mr. Yammaha, Chuck Sanders and I ate an assload of Gen. Tso's chicken and then we jammed in my little home studio.
