i was wondering if anyone knew when the 7th book will be out. hopefully by christmas but anyone who knows, please answer and if you dont, dont reply.

I've heard rumors of the last book being released sometime in 2007 (a few websites claim July 7th, to be exact). But some recent news from Rowling's publisher (and Rowling herself) claims she'll be puting the finishing touches on the novel by the end of this year. That makes a July 2007 release highly unlikely.
There's also talk of some bookstores in the United States receiving promotional materials and taking pre-orders for the new book. But, again, the publisher is claiming they haven't released anything official and there are no offers of pre-orders at this time. In fact, the publisher is warning consumers not to plunk down any cash for pre-orders now. Beware of this!
Whenever it comes out, it won't come soon enough!

I know!!! It will be released in July 2007. They haven't said the exact date, but it is for sure in July, also when the movie for the fifth book comes out.

She has recently stated that she still had a lot of writing to go for the 7th book, so I highly doubt it will be out until 2008.

Possibly by October of 2007 . That was the last I heard .
