Winning the NFC is still a good bet but what about the super bowl. Who will be the AFC entry?

With such a lack of consistency in the NFC I'd say the Bears are still the best bet to win. Their defense is excellent despite the loss last night. Their only big question mark is Grossman. As long as he doesn't try to play outside of his abilities the Bears will play in the SB.

The AFC is a different story. I see it coming down to three teams. The Ravens, Colts, and Pats. The Colts have the offensive but as we all know defense wins championships generally speaking. The Pats have a better defense but they are certainly not the team that won three super bowls. The Ravens have the defense but their offense isn't where it needs to be. Having said all this I'll go with the Colts. Like the Rams of several years ago they just outscored their way to a championship. I think that is a good possibility for the Colts this season. Colts win the Super Bowl over the Bears 31-24.

As mentioned I would keep an eye out for those pesky NFC Champion Seahawks. After surviving a half a dozen MAJOR injuries to KEY players, they are getting healthy again and if they win tonight, will be a full TWO games ahead in their division and still tied for the second NFC bye.

Coming out of a series of injuries that should have ended their season and WOULD have ended almost any other team's season, in that kinda shape makes the healthy 'Hawks a very dangerous team for the end run!

In the AFC, the Colts are always one of the most dangerous teams in football, but after watching the Ravens-Steelers yesterday, I have to say, the way Baltimore played, I don't think there is a team this season that would have stood a chance against them! If McNair keeps improving and that Ryan defense keeps playing like THAT, I'd have to go with the big Ugly Purple Crows this year...........

I have never been sold on the Bears winning it all this year. We certainly could be looking at a rematch of Super Bowl XX yet, but I suspect the Patriots win again...just like yesterday. That being said, when I look at the conferences, I still think that the wild-card positions in the AFC are superior teams to most of the division leaders in the NFC...Bears being the lone exception.

Simply put, were I to power rank all the teams, the Bears would sit fourth right now behind the Pats, Colts and Ravens. Chargers would be a very close fifth.

Similar to last year's Seahawks, the Bears sit atop a less talented group of teams...however, speaking of last year's Seahawks, the Bears need to be careful as that particular team gets healthy as they could start a run to repeat as conference champs.

The Bears showed the world how good their defese is and how BAD their QB can be. Look out for the Ravens and the Colts fighting for the AFC entry.

The Bears and Pats played a great game .It could have gone the other way .Da Bears defense is something to behold, don't count them out. They are the Monsters of the Midway and probably the beating the Bears gave the Pats will end up with a loss this coming week ,from injuries and exhaustion.Da Bears defense if you looked closely was not tired.

Sometimes I think God is a Bear fan 'cause they can pull some stuff outta mid-air. I love 'em. They're my fav team...but dang they get lucky sometimes. Then again - like yesterday, they have some lousy calls made against them. I think the Bears will be doing the SUPERBOWL SHUFFLE in Feb :) That's my prediction yes. It stands. Go Bears!

Well the handwriting has been on the wall for a while if u have noticed. Their defense is very good, but the offense struggles at times and depends on unproven QB Grossman too much.

They won't make it to the SuperBowl. In the AFC, I think it will be Baltimore. They could probably beat Indy in the regular season and definetly in the post season.

I'm not even sure they can get there anymore, at least with Grossman at the helm. AFC will probably be Baltimore, maybe Indy.
