If you are on the pill do you feel like it has increased your appetite?

Studies show an increase of weight while on birth control pills as is the same for depo-provera by an average of about 15 lbs. So its natural to be slightly more hungry now that you are on the pill, however you must be sure that you have no possibility of being pregnant because birth control pills would be horrible if you were actually pregnant and that's been known to happen.

Because the birth control pill fools your body into thinking it is pregnant, then you get the increased hunger pangs that you would when you are pregnant (eating for two).
You need to exercise and watch your food intake to avoid weight gain.

Not at all. The only time my hunger is insatiable is when I have PMS, but that usually happens at the time I switch into the placebo week.
Again, of all the people I know who have used BC, I can't think of one who gained weight from it. Usually, they gain weight for a different reason but blame it on the pill.
