Women do?? I mean...I think most women spend more time planning and searching for that "perfect" gift! Am I right?? Do men take this as seriously as women??

I hate shopping...It's not that I don't love my wife...I just can't decide! I don't want her to be disappointed.

Wow, totally inappropriate! I hate to say this but there's a good chance your wife has been having an affair. It's not an absolute but the signs are all there. I don't know any single man that would buy a married woman a replacement wedding ring without already have gotten something in return. Also, I don't know any married woman in her right mind that would accept any type jewelry from another man. I think you need to have a serious talk with your wife. Since you are all in the military, I know there will be some repercussions but you deserve the truth.

I think there are a lot of men who take it seriously, but not always succeed. I know of a few men who really get stressed out because they want to get the right gift and not disappoint their wife. Other men I know are very observant and can pick the perfect gift. The rest of the men I know don't plan, don't observe and probably don't care.

I know all the men in my family take it very seriously. My husband spends so much time looking for anything and everything I want. I protest but he does it anyways!!

I am sure there are some that do not but it may be more of an issue where they do not know what the woman wants. Some men can be clueless but it does not mean they don't care.

well depends on the men, I can only speak for my self, but if my girl is worthed, well if she isn't I wouldn't be on the first place with her, I usually stress my as* searching for a gift and thank God I find it the last minute, but on the other hand, don't the through that counts, if your man comes and brings u flowers and something small, won't u enjoy it, rather than look for something more special, or start thinking that he didn't take enough time?
After all the Holiday is about Christ, not about giving gifts or man or woman, lets not forget that.:-)

Have a Blessed Christmas O:-)

I don't know alot of men who spend serious time on planning and searching. They will go out at the last minute to CVS or a grocery and hope for the best. I've been shopping on line for months. My husband would rather use the money to travel or go out to dinner. I agree with him because my tastes are ever changing.

I do, I take pride in looking for that perfect gift for my wife. I do not buy the first thing I see. Sometimes, it may take me 2 weeks before I decide on that special gift.

Yes men do take shopping for the perfect gift seriously. The difference they worry about it and we wander in the store!

Can anyone please tell me the etiquette on giving wish list to loved ones. My boyfriend requested that I give him a Christmas list to give him ideas for what I want. How do I do this without sounding greedy? Should I not give him the list?

Sorry to say, every man I know HATES shopping. If we come across something that is 'perfect', we try to grab it, pay for it and get out. If a guy actually comes up with something reasonable, you have a great guy. I doubt that guys would shop for anything if they didn't have to. Except for that really cool toy or porno tape.

Yeah...not all guys are selfish goofs with no clue....but...unfortunately...the ones I know are! My Hubby and I have been together for over a decade...and he still can't figure out what i want without asking!
