Yeah,I hate it too.I listen to so many different types of music,and have a broad spectrum of favorites.It always gets to me when someone tells me that I don't look like the type to listen to this or that group.It make me laugh that people can be that hung up on appearances and shallow.I just love music! And what speaks to ones heart is to me the only thing that matters.

Well I listen to half of those too, with may variations, but what the heck is EMO? And also labeling people is just a way of for other people to feel superior.

people label people because of previous situations in their life... doesn't make it any better though. I don't really listen to your music but .... I think that what you are saying is so true.
What is EMO??
I listen to juanes, u2, ub40, jack johnson, usher, salsa, 80's, 70's, and everything in between and I wonder really what people label me as... I would love to hear... cuz my family makes fun of my music all the time!

You know what's really funny is I never heard of any of those bands!! Ha, ha. To answer your question though, NO. I just don't care. I listen to whatever I like and they can make fun of me all they want. Guess it comes with age.

You want to become a doctor you go to medical school hear medical words and you are labelled a doctor. What you hear affect who you are to a greater proportion than most people want to accept. One big lie that will make people not evaluate what they listen to is it does not affect me. Then all the companies that spend billions of dollar for us to listen to them are big fools. You are what you eat you are what you hear.
