Try to drink hibiscus from time to time, if you find it you can keep some at work and drink it whenever you feel your blood pressure is going up. It has proved to lower the blood pressure.

go to your doctor immediately. Tight chest and shaky hands are symptoms of hypertension and the sooner treated the better. Don't screw around with this. These symptoms can lead to heart failure and diabetes. And really its a simple thing to clean up if you just take care of it right away. The doctor will give yousome pills and suggest a change of diet. You will feel a lot better. Question? How old are you and what is your sex and weight? vital stats. If this has been going on a long time please do this at once. Have the doctor give you a cardiac stress test which is a treadmill while attached to a ekg machine. this will allow the doctor to determine if there are any blockages in the heart. Early treatment is the most important thing. Good luck and do it now. your life depends on it!!!

With respect to your blood pressure other than seeing a doctor for professional advice you can try to incorporate lots of garlic into your diet...if you already do then you should add more.

The stress!!!! Well that can kill you faster than the high blood pressure. First of all examine all aspects of your life, family, financial, health etc to see if there are stress factors there as well that may be contributing to your stress at work and you may not realize it

Then find ways to deal with the issues if not eliminate them all together.
If you can't find any other stress factors in your life and it's just your job then you should examine the stress factors there and try to find a way to make life easier for you...if you can't find any then maybe it's time to move on to another workplace.

The stress is not worth it!!!

All the best to you

Stress is everytime everywhere. So we have to learn to live with it. Imagine a life without stress. Most probably, it would be very boring. I don't prefer medicines or simple therapies in the first hand. Just change your view. Maybe things will look different. Be the person, who can live and enjoy in your position. Try:)

You didn't mention any numbers in your question. For moderately high blood pressure you could cut your salt intake. It is suggested that the maximum salt intake should be 2300 mg per day. If you still have pressure problems you could ask your doctor for HCTZ (hydrochlorothiazide). It is a cheap and effective way of sodium reduction. If your high blood pressure persists your doctor could prescribe any one of several medications.

My father has the same problem. He drinks cucumber juice everyday. It helps. I mean better than chemical stuff in the medicine.
