Ok, I have an irregular period(I have every a period every month but some months it is about a 40 day cycle) so it is hard to tell when I would be ovulating... here is my question: I have been checking my BBT (I am on day 12 of this cycle) and I have noticed that my temp. has been rising the last 2 days. (sat: 96.83 sun: 97.10 today: 97.24) Also, this morning when I went to pee, I noticed egg white CM and it streched about 2 inches... Does this mean that I am ovulating?? (I am on metaformin) and if I am, what are the chances of me coneiving?? (my husband and I had sex saturday and this morning...)
Just some oppinions would be nice :~)

Sometimes when you ovulate it isn't a 0.5 degree spike in one day. It can be a gradual climb. The CM is a good indication that you are either about to or are ovulating. Having sex Saturday and this morning is good. Sperm generally live 2 days. Also, the CM helps protect the sperm. I'd say your chances are good, but keep up the sex every other day this week, just to make sure. Also, you might want to check out fertilityfriend.com. You can enter your data on their site for free and it will tell you if ovulation has been detected. Good luck!!

You ovulate before your period. I know that your temp will rise when ovulating. Are you trying to become pregnant? If you are I would say your chances are high and you should keep trying. I am a mother of three and usually the high temp and the egg white CM is a good clue that you are ovulating. Or it may be a sign that your body is preparing itself to start ovulating. I'm not a doctor just a mother. Listen to your body you know it better than anyone.

That a good sign that you are ovulating. Egg WHite" cm sperm can be nouroushed and transported easier

It sounds like ovulation to me! Sperm can live inside of you for up to 5 days so your chances of conceiving are pretty good right now. I have my fingers crossed for you. Good Luck!!

Sounds like you're ovulating. I'd have sex again today, just incase the sperm from satuday isnt still alive.

Anytime you have egg white CM you are fertile!! This morning was a good time! Your chances are very good.
