1st Did you buy a box that had 2 test in it? I know a lot of boxes have to test in them now. You could have gotten that one faulty box.

2ndly people who say you need to buy a better more expensive brand of test to get a correct result are wrong. You can get a faulty test no matter how cheap/expensive the brand. (I know from experience) They all look for the same thing and that is the HCG hormone. Depending on how high the levels of HCG are depends on how fast your results appear.

3rdly If you have gotten a positive result at all then it is usually right, it is when you get a negative result when it can be wrong.

I suggest instead of buying another home pregnancy test, you should go to the doc. because you can always have them do a blood test. You will have to see a doctor soon anyways if you are pregnant.

Good luck!

If the 2 pregnancy test you first took didn't work just try again.. the best pregnancy test i could recommend it's clear blue the one with the words..... and if it show negative first and on the second one nothing showed up it's either the test you took ain't effective or its your hormones.. all women are different i found out when i was pregnant at 2 weeks...other women take about a month or two...

It should only take 2 to five minutes to read a result. Make sure you are usuing the test stick correctly. Hold it pointing downward in your urine stream for FIVE seconds. Then put the cover on, and lay in on a flat surface. You should see within two minutes if the positive line is appearing.
If all else fails and you are still unsure, go see your doctor. He can do a more accurate urine analysis or a blood test to confirm either positive or negative! Good luck with this.
If you are pregnant, or trying to get pregnant..you should begin taking your prenatal vitamin. You should have started at least three months before trying to conceive to help prevent against serious birth defects like spina bifida.
Drink plenty of milk and orange juice and eat healthy!

The tests you could have used may have been expired. They do have a shelf life. If that wasn't the case then they could have been faulty tests. I would suggest going to your doctor and have them give you the pregnancy test. They can do a blood test which will give you accurate results as opposed to a urine test like the home pregnancy tests. I hope the results are what you were hoping for.

ok if the test shows no result at all then the test didnt work. if you still havent gotten your period you can by another test or go to your local wic office and they will test you for free and if you are they will give you a piece of paper stating you are pregnant and there tests are pretty accurate so id do that if your worried about not taking the test right or worried about the test not working

It means you need to either go to the doctor for a test that would actually tell you something or you need to try a different kind of pregnancy test. The tests you took stunk.

Buy another one, and don't buy a cheap one! Get the Clear, Blue Easy test and makes sure it's DIGITAL and will just say the work pregnant or not pregnant instead of the silly lines.

when I was pregnant for my daughter it did not show up in a urine test for several months, due to the HCG being low (HCG is what shows up in high amounts in your urine, usually when you are pregnant) mine first showed up in a blood test and then later showed up in my urine...you may need to have a blood test done but then again there are many reasons for missed periods. You should see a health professional.
