people always call me a Tomboy and I'm kinda shy about wearing make up...so I was wondering if you could give me some tips about wearing make up and what kind is the best to use and what not to use. I really am looking for some that would bring out my eyes more cuz my eyes are a light blue with green mixed in them so they change colors alot.

Honey don't wear any at all. Doesn;t matter if your tomboy or not. Makeup is a vanity thing. It really does more damage to a girls face then being natural. My wife of 30 years has never worn makeup in her life except maybe lipstick once in a while.
She is a natural beauty as I am sure you are as well. Don;t wear the makeup as it will hurt you in the long run.

If you are shy about wearing makeup, don't overdo it (and make sure that wearing makeup is something YOU really want to do and not just because other people think you should).
I would suggest just starting out with a little waterproof mascara. Get comfortable with that, and if you want, move up to some eyeshadow too. If you are still shy, stick with neutral colors. As you get more comfortable, or for special occasions, then you can go with some colors. I haven't checked it out in a while, but the covergirl website used to have applying and color matching tips if you want to try that.

Call around to the make-up counters at the mall and find out who will give you a free consultation. Tell them you want a natural look that enhances your eyes, but doesn't take a lot of time. They will show you which colors are best for you, and how to apply them. They'll even write down the colors for you. I wouldn't suggest buying their make-up to start, though. It's usually pretty expensive. You can take you color palette to Wal-mart or Target, or any drugstore and buy something cheaper. That way, if you decide you don't like it, you're not wasting a lot of money. Good luck finding a look that you love, and that you're comfortable with.

I would suggest using mascara and lip gloss to start. Then go to some department store counters and just ask them to help you pick out a eyeshadow that will bring out your eyes. They'll help you and let you try different colors. Then you can buy theirs which will probably run you $12 to $20 per shadow or you can take their advice and go to the drug store and buy similar colors for $4 to $10. Good Luck. Make up is so fun, it's one of my hobbies.

If you want to bring out your eyes wear black eyeliner , mascara, and basically any dark eye shadow or anything like that will definitely bring out your eyes being that they are so light. Where as all the other stuff I'm not really sure lol I hardly wear make up myself

do not use too much makeup or you will look like you are trying too hard. and don't start wearing makeup just because people are calling you a tomboy, if you don't want to, don't do it..
to bring out your eyes, use browns and other darker colors like black and gray.

You should go to one of teh make up counter at Macy's or something and they will help you find tones that match your skin.
