I am going on holiday when I am 26 weeks pregnant. Will I be able to get travel insurance than covers my pregnancy?

Yes, but you MUST make sure that you state you are pregnant on the insurance forms. Some companies want a doctors letter saying you are fit to fly...;

It varies a lot from company. Usually you will not be covered if you travel during your first and thrid trimester. Also check what is covered in case you need prolonged treatment for a pregnancy emergency while away (especially if you are travelling to America). It will also depend on whether you have had any complications so far with this pregnancy or ith previous pregnancies.

I had travel insurance from the Post Office last time I was pregnant and, although we didn't have to claim, they seemed quite good.

any travel insurance will cover you but will need a fit to fly letter from your doc to show u have had no illnesses which may cause early labour, you cant fly from 35 weeks onwards

i found in the uk that i was uninsurable when travelling at 32 weeks and had to take a letter to show at check-in from my gp that proved i was fit to fly-they will provide this if you are healthy and havent had complications
i think they dont insure you after 30weeks-but check as in the light of current travel restrictions many things have changed,flying since august from uk is not as simple.....
bon voyage-and take your antenatal notes!check with the airline whether they will let you have them on flight as they cannot be lost!very special..........!
