Feed-burp-change - note behavior and temp as well a cold or ill child will cry to red face. If a child is kicking hard - usually gas or constipation, if rubbing ear - ear infection, rubbing nose - cold check temp and administer Tylenol appropriate to age or Dr's instruction, hand in mouth - hungry or teething if hungry feed if teething brush gums gently with a clean wet cloth and give teething medication - sometimes a baby just needs to cry - hold and sooth the baby until comforted and restful or take for a walk in the stroller or drive in the car.

well....I have a 6 month old. When she does that its could be a couple of things. She's hungry....has a bad diaper...she's tired....or she's in pain. Pick the baby up and try soothe her. Change the diaper, feed, etc, etc. If none of that works you can tell if she's just being a little snot or if something is seriously wrong.

Try holding the baby differently....They are probably HOT if they are crying like that.....Turn them around and face them away from you....Try taking them out side or walking around the house with them....Make sure they are fed, burped an changed....Perhaps sit down and lay the child tummy on your knees and gently bounce and pat their back....If it gets too bad call your mom!!....lol

Soothe the baby with lots of cuddles, try and distract him/her by showing something interesting. Check physical wellbeing- temperature/rash, clean nappy etc.

you need to do your best to calm the baby down. i always pick my baby up when he cries.. everyone tells me i shouldnt but hes a really happy baby so when he cries like that i know something is wrong. you just have to figure out what that is.
