Sounds like an engine misfire-is your engine light on? If you are not mechanically inclined, take it to a gm dealer as there are a lot of things that can cause this condition and if you play with the wrong "stuff" under the hood, you can cost yourself a lot of money.

i know a lady who has the same car that had very same problem. she took it back to the dealer and the mechanics had to have the intake manifold planed to match up better with the intake sides of the heads; warpage in this area caused a vacuum leak which was cured by the planing.

it sounds like you should get an ignition tune up first then look for vacuum leaks. is the check engine lamp on? at this point you probably need the services of a trusted mechanic or dealer

Since it's less than 5 years old it should still be under warranty, take it to a dealer and let them sort it out.
