The Christmas Candle Bridge usually has 7 candles, I am a Christian but I do not know why, but it is not a Jewish Menorah.

The Menorah is lit on the eight nights of Chanukah, commemorating the miracle at the Temple in Jerusalem. Since the Chanukah lights are not to be used for any work, Menorahs have a ninth candle on them, called the Shamash, used to light the other candles.

Jewish menorahs have 7 candles. I've never seen a Christmas arch anywhere.

I think the seven candles signify the seven churches. In the book of Revelation(bible) God writes to all the Seven churches. That's why i think there are seven candles.

I always assumed they were 'stolen' from the Jewish like others suggested, Channukah is often celebrated at this time of year and the two religions are closely related
