You probably do not have a yeast infection. It would probably be a bit more obvious and miserable. Get tested by your doctor, (probably will be tested for a UTI, too, since they are super common, although they don't usually cause itching) but itching in general is common during pregnancy. If it is a yeast infection, know that you can have a yeast infection your entire pregnancy, and it won't hurt your baby, although it can cause thrush if your child is born while you have one.
Monistat 7 is actually considered safe during pregnancy, and, contrary to the woman above, will not cause you to miscarry. Antibiotics cannot clear up a yeast infection, either - they actually make it worse, generally. Also, any yeast medications that are pills or whatever would be worse than Monistat, as their pregnancy category by the FDA is more dangerous than OTC stuff.
Sorry, the stuff in the second paragraph is partially in response to the gross misinformation you were given above.
Good luck!

Your doc will tell you to try the monistat first before giving you anything else. Both of my pregnancies I have a severe case of yeast infection and the only thing that they can do is give me some cream that doesn't work but may help with the itching for a few minutes so I don't scratch my self raw. Good Luck and try the monistat first before going to the doc because that is all they will do for you at first. I am five months pregnant and I have had this yeast infection for almost three months now. good Luck and best of wishes to you and your baby.

Ive got the same exact thing...I think mine is from using a different type of soap for a week and it irritated me, because there is nothing else wrong. I just switched soaps again and the itch is calming down a bit. I have also heard that there doesnt have to be many symptoms with a yeast infection for you to have one.

I don't think it is a yeast infection because you said there was no discharge or odor. Try putting on some Vagisil cream for the itching. If it doesn't stop within a few days, I would ask the doctor.

Try an anti-itch cream like hydrocortison for 24-48 hrs first and see if it goes away then worry about it. It's probably nothing, yeast infections come with discharge. Good luck!

It doesn't sound like that. Maybe you just need to wear a skirt or dress around the house with no underwear now and then to get some air. Even non-pregnant woman should do this.
Don't worry about it.....worrying while you're pregnant isn't healthy. Try my suggestion, if it don't work, then maybe an over the counter medicine might help.
Good luck, and Congradulations! !
P.S. How did you get the Santa hat? I couldn't find one........
